Blacklist International reclaims the MPL PH Season 10 title in the grand final.

The throne has returned!

Blacklist International have returned to the top of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 10 standings after failing to qualify for the playoffs last season (MPL PH Season 10).

This is the M3 champions’ third league triumph, after back-to-back grand final appearances in Seasons 7 and 8. Blacklist is also the first club in league history to win three titles since Season 1.

Blacklist earned the first grand final spot by defeating Bren Esports 3-2 in the upper bracket quarterfinals and then swept ECHO in the upper bracket final.

After being demoted to the lower bracket final, ECHO came back to defeat reigning champion RSG PH 3-1, securing a rematch with the Tier One-backed side in the grand final.

Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario kicked off the series with an off-meta Valentina jungle, going 7/0/5.

In the second game, ECHO employed Valir to counter Blacklist’s Faramis-Estes combination, the first time the hero was deployed in the league. The Orcas’ tactics succeeded, as they dominated the series. Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya took a 2-1 lead in the third game on Grock with his well-timed Guardian Barrier.

Salic “Hadji” Imam led the fifth on Pharsa after obtaining a Maniac at the 17-minute mark, leading to the wipeout following a one-sided game four in favor of Blacklist International at the OKBET MPL PH 10. Blacklist never looked back, finishing the game in 13 minutes with a 19-7 kill score.

The Blacklist dominated the sixth and final game. At the 16-minute mark, Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna’s Lolita grabbed three members with Noumenon Blast, resulting in a 5-0 wipeout.

Instead of securing the Luminous Lord, the Blacklist’s five members headed directly to the midlane and demolished the inner and base Turrets, as well as the crystal, to win the series for the OKBET MPL PH 10 Championships.

EXP laner Edward “EDWARD” Dapadap was named grand final MVP for the second time in the competition and will receive US$1000. Blacklist will take home the lion’s share of the $150,000 prize fund at OKBET MPL PH 10.

The country will be represented by ECHO and Blacklist International in the M4 World Championship in Indonesia early next year.
