For the first time in over two years, an Indian team will compete for the PMWI 2022 championship. India is one of the most popular areas for PUBG Mobile, also known as Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI).
With this, the squad is carrying the dreams of a full country into the PMWI 2022. Furthermore, PUBG Mobile has been banned in India once again, thus this might be the last esports competition in which a squad from the South Asian nation can compete.
After winning the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Pro Series, Team Soul qualified for the PMWI 2022. They dominated the BMPS Finals, finishing in the top two in 10 of 24 bouts, five of which were chicken feasts. In the end, they were 85 points ahead of the team in second place in the rankings.
