Sibol’s MLBB team begins championship defense with a victory against Malaysia.
See also : MPLI Meta Heroes 2022 | These heroes will dominate and rule the MPLIOn Wednesday, the Sibol’s MLBB Team Mobile Legends: Bang Bang squad began their championship defense campaign with a 2-0 triumph against Malaysia in a best-of-two match at the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The Filipinos dominated Malaysia, led by pro players from the Todak squad, and were made up of members of the M3 World Champion Blacklist International in Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna, Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario, and Salic “Hadji” Imam, as well as Dominic “Dominic” Soto and Howard “Owl” Gonzales.
The Filipinos struggled early in the opening game, which concluded with a deadlocked 21-all kill spread, but the duo of Villaluna and Del Rosario led the way with 1-3-15 and 2-5-9 KDAs, respectively.
Sibol continued to demonstrate its dominance in game two, defeating the Malaysians to collect three points and lead Group A for the Sibol’s MLBB Team.
The Filipinos are hoping to defend the championship they won in 2019.
Sibol’s MLBB Team will next play Laos at 12 p.m. before concluding the group round against Myanmar at 8:30 p.m.
