The PUBG Mobile World Invitational is one of Tencent’s younger tournaments, with the inaugural edition taking place only last year PMWI Team Qualified. The 2021 PMWI, on the other hand, was considerably different since the teams competed remotely. Furthermore, the PMWI was divided into East and West regions to decrease ping disparities between worldwide rivals. The PMWI 2021 was sponsored by Gamers Without Borders and included a $3 million charity prize fund divided equally between the East and West. This money might be donated by teams to a charity of their choosing.
In each zone, sixteen teams fought, with Valdus Esports emerging as the Eastern winners. The title of Western champions, on the other side, went to Alpha7 Esports from Brazil.
